Downtown Berkeley Breakfast Stop

The historic city of Berkeley is full of all sorts of gems, and on my family's trip to visit my sister at school we found the cutest French restaurant with a nice cozy feel called La Note. When you walk through the quaint entry way, you find yourself enter a small old fashioned, rustic cafe. The walls covered with little painted pictures and shelves full of a mismatch of colorful pots and plates make your eyes wander in joy. I ordered the classic pancakes and eggs with a side of potatoes combo. The pancakes were sweet and fluffy while the potatoes had flavor and a beautiful crispy outside. I will definitely be returning there soon for other meals, so stay tuned!
